How to tell if your cat is facing tummy troubles?

Like any digestive system, your cat’s digestive system converts the food she eats to energy, and there may be times when she has some problems. Common problems could be diarrhoea and constipation. Take her to the vet if you see any of the below symptoms -
Cats vomit occasionally to protect themselves from harmful substances. However, if you see your cat doing so regularly, take her to the vet for a check-up.
Diarrhoea may be a result of change in food, overfeeding, or an infection. You kitten or cat should have a bowel movement at least once a day – watch out for changes in this routine. Diarrhoea may also result in dehydration. Speak to your vet for advice.
If your cat is straining while she’s in the litterbox, it may be a sign of constipation. It may be a result of change in diet, overfeeding, or an infection. If these symptoms continue for over 48 hours, speak to your vet.
